The Boiling Point: Purdue gets another commitment for football.

In what seems to be a stream of commitments for Purdue’s 2012 football class, WR Jordan Woods has made his pledge to the Boilers. This is from a tweet from Scout as well as numerous other tweets on Twitter. The 6’2″ 175lb Woods plays at Ann Arbor Skyline High School from, you guessed it, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Woods told Scout.com:

"“They seemed to want me from the beginning,” he explained, “and they never let up and they made it seem like I was their guy and I really like that. I like the atmosphere. The campus reminds me of Ann Arbor, so it makes me feel and home and I like the coaching staff. It’s not too far away, so my parents can come down and see me play, but it’s also far away enough to make me feel like I’m on my own. Those are the things that were key.”"

Woods is Purdue’s 16th known commitment.  He is a 3 star prospect according to Rivals.com.
